why do my organic apples smell like chemicals?
I bought two organic “Fuji” or “Fiji apples” at Whole Foods today and I wanted to eat one a moment ago until I realized the skin has a strong chemical odor. It smells like some sort of pesticide or fertilizer, I’m not sure, but I can say with absolute certainty that the apple smells like a treated lawn.
Is it normal for some apples to naturally smell like chemicals?
Some natural fruits and vegetables are being contaminated by the chemicals.
