I forgot I was getting a blood test and drank coffee with Splenda?
Im having a blood test today and I forgot it was fasting. I had a cup of coffee this morning (1/2 caff, 1/2 decaf) with a splash of 2% organic milk and two packets of splenda.
Is my blood test a bust? Can I still go ahead with it? How much would that affect the outcome? Im pregnant and this is my first OB visit. They do a full blood panel as routine.
AND before anyone says anything, the caffeine in the coffee is less than a regular cup of coffee and my doc says I can have 1-2 cups and splenda is ok so….thats not my question. I want to know about the blood test!
Oh yeah and this was 2 hours ago. Ive already been to the bathroom a couple of times since then
Why not just reschedule the test and remember to fast next time.
